Scratch is a creative programme where you can make your own games, films, virtual worlds and more. This is specially made for kids to enjoy and experiment on. So far I have made:

Films (3)  BertyDirty Kalurti, Bossy Flossy and Hollywood Street. 
Games (1) Rukiya's Car race game.

Hey guys I'm back for Reviewtalk. In this post I will speak about books and films plus give my reviews.

Name of book: Marley a dog like no other
Author: John Grogan
Rating: 10/10
Certificate: 9+
Genre: True story, adventure

Summary- Meet Marley, a yellow furball of a puppy, with
an appetite of mischief. You could say he's the worlds worst
dog, but for those who love him he's a dog like no other: bringing
joy to his family as he bounds through life teaching them what really matters.

At the end of this book it made me cry (i can't tell you why because then
i will spoil it for the readers). He wrecked the house many times
and the owners got quite annoyed, but they coulden't get rid of Marley, they loved him inside, even though he ruined some experiences. This is my favourite book because it gives you a special feeling inside, and it made me cry. There is also a film, that also will probably make you cry.You must read it. :) :)

Name of book: Amber and the hidden city
Author: Milton J Davis
Rating: 10/10
Certificate: I would say this book is suitable for my age (11), it says at the back that it is for young adults, but i'm reading it now and it seems suitable however  its slighlty complicated!
Genre: Adventure, Mystery

Name of film: The Gabby Douglas Story
Director: Gregg Champion
Rating: 9/10

This film is a true story about a girl 'Gabby Douglas' who never takes her eye off her goal 'compete in the olympics and win'. This film is about believing in your dreams and never letting them go.

 Gabrielle Douglas learns hard, complicated Gymnastics moves quicker than a cheetahs legs taught by  her sister. Every once in a while, she wrecks something in her house from a bad ending in her gymnastic moves. After a few years, her mum can afford to take her Gymnastic lessons, and when she approaches the gym, its like all her dreams have shriveled up into one. Once Gabrielle grows into a young adult, she becomes bored of her gym and is desperate to be trained by the famous Liang Chang in Iowa, which is over 1000 miles away from her home location.

Gabrielle sits on the grass with her brother, yet to find out that over 1000 miles away a family is willing to let her stay in their house whilst she trains with Liang Chang…

I think this film could of had better happier up-beat music in it. Also the film was a bit too serious it could have highlighted more fun scene.  

This film is a sweet, passionate story which I enjoyed and have watched many times.


To be honest I think golden hoop earings, a belly top, tracky bottoms and wedges would be a nice outfit to wear when you want to show off your style.
However today we're going to have a look at some people and critisize their outfits,  then figure out what better outfits that could wear. I will also show you guys some new clothes that I think are nice. 

The Cheetah Girls 2 Final Performance: Amigas Cheetahs 
Focus: Chanel

First of all Chanel is a very pretty girl. The problem is her hair is too slikked, her outfit is too tight and she's wearing clothes that don't harminize each other.

What I think she should of wore instead-

1. Hair slikked in a ponytail
2. Hoop earings (doesn't matter what colour)
3. Stylish belly top
4. Baggy white trousers with sparkly sewn butterflies on them.
5. Some necklaces and bangles

The Cheetah Girls 2 performance: Step up
Focus: Raven

I really don't think that Raven outfit in this peformance is nice. If she's the only one wearing a hat then shoulden't she be dancing in the middle? Or shoulden't Aqua the person on the other end have a hat too? The problem is, if Raven has a different outfit to the others then all of them would need to change it too. 

What I think the whole group should of wore so that Raven would look better:

1. Same jeans
2. Each have golden belts
3. White Polo shirts
4. Stud earings
5. Each with their hair out

My Tribute to Maya Angelou

Dr. Maya Angelou died recently on Wednesday May 28th 2014. She was an extremely inspiring and infuentual African American Woman. She will be missed for her great books and quotes which both
she has many of.

This is Dance Moms my favourite tv show
it is totally awesome!
You can watch it on Lifetime channel. This programme
is about 7 girls who have to perform
hard challenging dance moves in
competitions. Their teacher is a tough big thing
and often makes them upset and causes arguments
with the mothers. This programme is
dramatic and exciting, you never know what
is going to happen next. YOU MUST WATCH IT!

I'm writing a story called 'Nature
Girl' about an 11 year old girl who
lives in a large island called 'Jasper'. Wierd
things are happening, her teacher is
in hospital, the princess was bombed and the man she has
known for years 'Marcus' turns out to be her enemy. You
will soon have a chance to read it in my next post. :)
